Data Analyst Apprentice (Level 4)

As an Analytics Business Partner Apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting the growing analytics function across the business. Working alongside experienced data professionals, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you'll leverage modern technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to deliver impactful data solutions that support decision-making across the organisation.

In this role, you'll work towards your Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data solutions within Microsoft Fabric using PySpark, Python, and SQL to cleanse, validate, transform, and automate business data processes across multiple datasets.
  • Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data accuracy and delivering meaningful business insights to stakeholders.
  • Perform data quality and governance activities, including removing duplicates, correcting formatting issues, validating records, and resolving inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Data Analyst, Head of Commercial and Buying, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct statistical and predictive analysis to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development of automated, efficient, and scalable reporting resources using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Analyse data relating to service, returns, stock, inventory, ecommerce, and customer journeys to help improve business performance.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • A Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English is required for this role.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Python.
  • Able to prioritise workloads, manage expectations, and deliver on requests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with a variety of stakeholders.
  • An enquiring and proactive mindset with a genuine interest in data and technology.
  • Interest in furniture and interior design would be advantageous.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £22,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
