This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of practical AI adoption, supporting the development of AI-powered workflows, automation systems and emerging technologies across both client and internal projects.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 AI Practitioner qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about AI and technology, enjoys problem solving, and is eager to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools while building a long-term career in media, automation and AI innovation.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Designing and building workflow automations using Make and connecting third-party APIs to prototype AI-powered solutions
  • Carrying out prompt engineering across platforms including Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini to create accurate and effective AI outputs
  • Analysing business processes to identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement
  • Working with creative AI tools such as Flux, Veo, Eleven Labs and Retell AI to develop AI-generated voice, image and video solutions
  • Supporting the development and testing of AI-assisted prototypes using Claude Cowork and Claude Code
  • Managing workflows, project tracking and datasets using Airtable
  • Documenting workflows and producing clear technical briefs for both internal teams and clients
  • Researching emerging AI technologies and identifying innovative ways they can be applied across the agency
  • Supporting colleagues with AI tool adoption, training and day-to-day AI tasks
  • Collaborating with developers, creatives and wider agency teams on live client projects
  • Occasionally supporting other departments during busy project periods and deadlines

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • Has a genuine interest in AI, technology and how things work
  • Is analytical and enjoys working through problems methodically
  • Picks up new tools and platforms quickly and isn’t fazed by learning something unfamiliar
  • Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Works well independently and as part of a wider team
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Takes ownership of their work and pays close attention to detail
  • Has a creative mindset and enjoys finding better ways of doing things
  • Is educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, or has relevant practical experience
  • Lives within easy commuting distance of Harrogate
  • Has enthusiasm to learn and develop within a fast-moving AI environment
  • Grade 4/C in Maths GCSE and 4/C in English GCSE is required for this programme

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary: £18,000 per annum
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • 40 hours per week
  • 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays
  • Full support and training through an approved apprenticeship programme

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

Baltic Apprenticeships’ Level 4 AI Practitioner programme is designed to equip apprentices with the technical knowledge, practical skills and industry experience needed to succeed in modern AI-driven workplaces.

Throughout the programme, you will learn how to:

  • Understand core AI concepts and practical applications
  • Build and improve AI-powered workflows and automations
  • Use prompt engineering techniques effectively
  • Analyse and interpret data to support business outcomes
  • Work with low-code and no-code AI tools
  • Understand AI ethics, governance and responsible usage
  • Support businesses with AI implementation and optimisation
  • Collaborate effectively within technical and non-technical teams

You will receive structured training, one-to-one support and regular coaching from Baltic Apprenticeships throughout your learning journey.
