Baltic Apprenticeships are delighted to be working in partnership with Siemens Energy to recruit a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprentice. Siemens Energy is a leading energy technology organisation with around 100,000 employees across more than 90 countries, focused on developing innovative energy systems to meet growing global demand in a reliable and sustainable way. With a strong heritage of over 150 years of innovation, they play a key role in powering approximately one sixth of the world’s electricity generation, while driving forward the transition to cleaner, more efficient energy solutions.

As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will support teams by collecting, cleaning, and analysing data to produce insights, reports, and dashboards that help inform data-driven decisions. You will also gain hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Python, and Snowflake while developing your analytical and communication skills in a professional environment. 

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Collaborate with team members to understand business questions, define success criteria, and translate requirements into clear analytical tasks.
  • Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using tools such as Alteryx and Python.
  • Create interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support teams in accessing and using data effectively through tools like Alteryx and Mendix.
  • Contribute to real business projects from day one, with ongoing support to develop your skills and confidence.
  • Identify patterns and insights within data, presenting findings through clear, easy-to-understand reports and visualisations.
  • Work with platforms such as Snowflake to manage and query data, while helping to automate processes and build data-driven solutions

 

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £23,372.00 Per annum
  • Monday to Thursday 9am till 3:30pm
  • Friday 9am till 2:30pm
  • 26 Days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Employee Bonus Scheme

  • Demonstrates strong drive and ambition, with a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
  • Shows a keen interest in data and technology, with an understanding of how insights support informed business decision-making.
  • Works effectively within a team, collaborating to understand stakeholder needs and communicating findings in a clear and accessible way.
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail and accountability, ensuring data accuracy and handling information with care.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights through reports and presentations.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as Excel, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in analytical platforms including Power BI, Alteryx, Mendix, SQL, and Python.
  •  A minimum of Grade 4 in Maths and Grade 4 in English is required
