Techys2u Limited are looking for an apprentice who is ready to learn and become part of a valuable team. You will be supporting installation, providing first line support to users, and contributing to routine security checks. In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues across hardware, software, and networks
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and equipment
• Respond to service desk requests and provide first-line support to users
• Help monitor system performance and report any potential issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical processes, fixes, and asset records
• Work closely with experienced engineers to learn best practices and improve technical skills
• Contribute to routine security checks and ensure systems meet organisational standards
• Participate in training and work towards achieving industry-recognised IT qualifications

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• Passion for technology and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Grade 4 in GSCE Maths & Grade 5 in GSCE English.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £15,600 per annum.
• 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
• Birthday off.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
