Kickstart Your Career in IT with IT Managed!

Are you passionate about technology and eager to learn? IT Managed, a trusted IT support and managed services provider, is looking for a motivated IT Apprentice to join our friendly and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support, networking, and cybersecurity while learning from experienced professionals who will help you build a successful career in the tech industry.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Carry out remote sessions with clients/end users to resolve support issues
  • Liaise with clients and end users via phone, email and occasionally face to face on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage the internal IT/network/VOIP infrastructure (after adequate training)
  • Assist in the creation of commissioning guides and standards documents
  • Complete training courses to become competent with popular AV products and services
  • Represent AVM and uphold our reputation with all clients and general public
  • Off site preparation/commissioning of AV devices (after adequate training)

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics & Grade 5 in GCSE English.
  • Help set up and maintain computers and software.
  • Support staff with basic IT problems and questions.
  • Show enthusiasm and passion for working in IT.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and users.
  • Use strong computer skills to complete daily tasks.
  • Help monitor and look after computer networks.
  • Use problem-solving skills to find and fix issues.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £17,000 – £22,000 per annum
  • 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holiday

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
