You will assist with maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, working alongside experienced colleagues to enable our schools and staff to thrive in a connected digital environment.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Onsite support, email, ticketing system, call.
- Involved in Multi Factor authentication, password resets, occasional group policies.
- Network diagrams, tech specs, interpret with line manager.
- Hardware to install and configure includes desktop, laptops, printers, interactive whiteboards.
- Will be expected to train staff on new rollouts when more experienced in the role.
- Will work on the networked devices listed throughout.
- Handle queries and communicate via email/call/face to face.
- Workstations, servers, software's, active directory.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics & Grade 5 in GCSE English
- Passion for IT and technology, with a genuine interest in developing technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to technical challenges.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with users and team members clearly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when completing technical tasks or documentation.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,271 per annum
- 8am-4pm Monday to Friday

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
