Are you looking to begin a career in data and analytics while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic business?

Xamax, a leading UK supplier of personalised clothing and workwear, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst Apprentice to join their team. This is the perfect role for someone eager to develop their skills in data management and reporting while supporting key business functions.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Collect and enter sales data from quotations, orders, and customer interactions into company systems.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, customer behaviour, and success rates.
  • Produce clear and accurate reports for internal stakeholders including the Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and Operations Director.
  • Handle inbound sales submissions, preparing and sending quotations to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records across CRM, Outlook, and Excel to ensure data integrity.
  • Support business decision-making through reliable data insights.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • A Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English is required.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues and responding to customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Confident with computers and comfortable using basic software.
  • Willingness to speak with clients on the phone (or keen to gain confidence).
  • A team player with initiative and a proactive approach.
  • Eager to learn and gain practical skills in a real business environment.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary: £15,297.50 to £17,000 per annum, with increases during the apprenticeship.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
  • Holidays: 23 days plus bank holidays.
  • Additional Benefits: Christmas shutdown, discounted clothing.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in data. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
