In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships 

 

A Typical Day in the Job:  

·       Accurately input, update, and maintain data sets within Business Micros Evo software as well as administrative input within Sage Accounting software.

·       Work with the finance and operations team to ensure data is correct and reflects business activities .

·       Assist reviewing data to help identify trends and variances.

·       Help prepare clear and simple reports to support business and financial decision-making.

·       Assist in updating and maintaining data entry process documentation.

·       Support data quality checks and help resolve discrepancies within the system.

·       Provide general administrative support related to financial and operational data as needed.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.  

 

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge  

·       Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.

·       Willingness to learn new software, including Business Micros Evo.

·       Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and an interest in working with numbers.

·       Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.

·       Willingness to communicate confidently with different departments.

·       Interest in developing analytical thinking to identify patterns in data.

·       Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics and Grade 4 in GCSE English

Salary, Hours & Benefits:  

·       £16,000-£17,000 per annum

·       Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5pm

·       20 days holiday and Bank Holidays

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in data. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
