Are you ready to turn your passion for technology into a career? At Bold IT, we’re looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our team and start their journey in the world of IT.

You don’t need loads of experience—just a genuine interest in tech, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. As an IT Apprentice, you’ll get hands-on training, real-life experience helping businesses, and support from a team who want to see you succeed.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone/remotely).
  • Testing new technology.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Logging customer queries/issues in the company ticketing system promptly.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

  • Communication skills: Clear and professional communication with internal staff and external customers.

  • Time management: Prioritising tasks, logging work accurately, and meeting SLAs.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and support the wider team.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and processes as the business evolves.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accurate configuration, updates, and documentation.
  • Customer service mindset: Professional, polite, and patient when assisting users.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £18,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
  • 21 Days plus Bank Holidays

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
