EiS is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join their team as IT Apprentices. As a trusted technology partner to the public, private, and education sectors, EiS is driven by innovation and guided by values that put customers first. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience across areas such as cyber security, cloud services, managed IT, and GDPR compliance, while learning from industry experts who are passionate about sharing their knowledge.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Managing incoming tickets from end-users, covering service requests and incidents
  • Installing and licensing software in response to user needs
  • Ordering and reconciling hardware and peripherals, following up on discrepancies as needed
  • Maintaining adequate stock and accurate inventory records for IT assets
  • Managing asset records, including software licenses, warranties, contracts, and support agreements
  • Producing regular and ad-hoc reports from asset and peripheral registers
  • Supporting updates to client technologies and systems
  • Administering Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Intune, and cloud-based portals
  • Managing user accounts, access, security groups, and permissions
  • Assisting with additional IT duties as required in line with skillset

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service ethos and problem-solving ability.
  • Proactive in identifying efficiencies and improvements.
  • Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
