APPRENTICE OF THE MONTH

One of Anthony’s notable accomplishments lies in the field of videography. With his keen eye for detail and innate creativity, he has consistently produced captivating and visually stunning videos. Whether it’s capturing a day in the life of HPP or telling compelling stories through his lens, Anthony’s work in videography is truly remarkable. He has done an amazing job on creating a video that was showcased at our HPX show which was a big highlight. Additionally, Anthony has made significant contributions in the marketing department. His creative side shines through as he effortlessly comes up with innovative ideas to promote products and services. He is constantly participating in open discussion especially during meetings. This shows how attentive he is to learning each day and willing to contribute in any way that he can.

Despite the challenges associated with his ADHD, Anthony’s dedication and passion have allowed him to overcome obstacles and achieve greatness. His commitment to his craft, coupled with his exceptional talent, serves as an inspiration to others. Anthony’s achievements so far stand as a testament to his resilience, creativity and unwavering determination, making him a true role model for anyone facing adversity.”

Well done Anthony, keep up the great work!

STAND OUT NOMINEES

As well as celebrating this month’s winner, we would love to shine a light on our stand-out nominees from this month. These apprentices have been nominated by their managers for their achievements and hard work within their apprenticeship.

LYDIA FARRINGTON, INCONNECTION

“In both her office life and her apprenticeship Lydia is outgoing and always willing to chip in and give her insight on any project. She has put forward new ideas to increase engagement across our social media channels and has been a great contribution in a large-scale campaign we are running to our top 100 accounts to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

She never shies away from learning new skills and in the last month has shown spectacular work on Adobe Premier Pro in particular. She had to work with professional quality video content and learnt a wide range of skills in a short space of time to create a promotional video to an amazingly high standard that we are thrilled to share with our audience next month.

It’s a joy to have Lydia completing her apprenticeship with Inconnection and we know she’ll to bring her enthusiasm and drive to everything she does.”

JAKUB, NORTHSTAR

“Jakub’s ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets has greatly contributed to the success of his role. His attention to detail and meticulous approach ensure that our data is accurate and reliable, producing work to the highest standard. He has also shown a remarkable aptitude for problem-solving; he is curious to understand issues enabling him to come up with innovative solutions to challenges. A recent example of this is work to develop digital ways of working for the Property Services team, where he is working closely with experienced staff to suggest and develop new ways of working such as remote apps and forms.

Further to this, Jakub’s eagerness to learn and grow in his role is truly commendable. He actively seeks out opportunities to expand his knowledge and skill set. His enthusiasm is contagious, inspiring other team members to also strive for excellence. This has resulted in Jakub being successful in achieving a year’s secondment within the Property Services team where just 4 weeks into the role, he has adapted amazingly to his new team and role. Jakub has brought a totally different aspect to the team bringing fantastic data and IT knowledge, along with a real enthusiasm and energy to a team. Jakub is learning extremely fast, soaking up knowledge like a sponge but quality of work and volume is not compromised at all.

In addition to his technical abilities, Jakub is an excellent team player. He consistently demonstrates strong communication skills, effectively collaborating with. Overall, Jakub’s exceptional performance, dedication, and continuous pursuit of excellence make him a deserving candidate for the Apprentice of the Month award. I am confident that he will continue to excel in his role and contribute significantly to our team’s success.”

MUSA RAZA, CREATIVE NETWORKS

“I have never had to chase or follow up Musa for any submissions, even chase him regarding his tickets. Musa is constantly on the top 3 to resolve the highest number of tickets. He is determined to do well and showcases this by actively seeking feedback and working on it.

Musa is adaptable and has really fitted into the team and has a friendly relationship with all his colleagues. He not only helps them when required but actively ask them for training and likes sinking in information on higher level tickets, so he is more aware and kept up to date.

He is constantly trying to upskill himself and takes advantage of the training provided.

Such as Microsoft 365 Exams, and 3cx Training. He was put forward by his team leader as he has become an integral part of the service desk through his constant hard work, Musa has constantly received positive feedback from clients since he has joined showcasing amazing Customer Service Skills.”

CHARLES STREET, ENGINEERING POWER SOLUTIONS

“Charles has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and enthusiasm for his apprenticeship.

Recently, Charles received praise from his tutor Rhiannon, who named him as her ‘Session Superstar.’ Charles consistently stood out by actively participating in discussions, promptly answering questions, and sharing his innovative ideas with the group. His willingness to engage and contribute has not only enriched the learning experience for him but also for his peers.

Charles has a great understanding of marketing principles and is able to consistently apply these concepts effectively, driving increases in new sales enquiries and website traffic here at EPS.  Charles has proven himself to be a valuable asset in his role as Digital Marketing Assistant, consistently delivering excellent work redesigning our outdated website, creating linked in content and even choosing to work on marketing tasks in his own time.  He is clearly enjoying the job and course!

He is consistently punctual, prepared, and ready to contribute his best to each and every training session and work day. Charles embodies the qualities that Baltic Apprenticeships aims to foster in its apprentices.

Thank you for considering Charles for this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to the opportunity to celebrate Charles’s success with you.”

MATT DAVIS, HANDSAM LTD

“Matt has only been with us a few weeks but has already shown exceptional motivation and skills which have also led to him being nominated by Baltic as a Session Superstar recently. His application is second to none, but also his attention to detail is fantastic. Given that Matt has never studied computing or coding at any level in a formal setting until beginning this apprenticeship last month (he had studied PE and Physical Sciences to degree level but made a career change decision after his degree), we feel that Matt is perfect to be held up as a shining example of how a Baltic Apprentice achieves excellence – and quickly!”
