In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Software Developer qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Develop, deliver and support dynamic web applications and services.
• Upgrade legacy systems to improve functionality and usability with modern web technologies.
• Use APIs to synchronise the flow of data between internal and external systems.
• Support the digital marketing with with ongoing and future projects.
• Collaborate in the definition, evaluation & evolution of digital requirements and solutions working closely with a range of internal stakeholders in order to help define and agree user requirements, customer journey flows and technical solutions.
• Provide the appropriate support needed to achieve Wealth at Work group's digital objectives.
• Participate in the tams Agile Development process including Sprint Kick-off/Retro, Daily Stand Up and Code Review.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• A keen interest in modern software development principles.
• A desire to be involved in a fast paced team environment.
• Knowledge and experience of modern information systems including computer proficiency.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• Grade 6 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £18,000 per annum.
• Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
