In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Software Developer qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Develop, deliver and support dynamic web applications and services.
- Upgrade legacy systems to improve functionality and usability with modern web technologies.
- Use APIs to synchronise the flow of data between internal and external systems.
- Support the digital marketing with with ongoing and future projects.
- Collaborate in the definition, evaluation & evolution of digital requirements and solutions working closely with a range of internal stakeholders in order to help define and agree user requirements, customer journey flows and technical solutions.
- Provide the appropriate support needed to achieve Wealth at Work group's digital objectives.
- Participate in the tams Agile Development process including Sprint Kick-off/Retro, Daily Stand Up and Code Review.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- A keen interest in modern software development principles.
- A desire to be involved in a fast paced team environment.
- Knowledge and experience of modern information systems including computer proficiency.
- Strong people and communication skills.
- Grade 6 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,000 per annum.
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
Learn to create, test, and implement code as part of a professional software development team.
With our unique apprenticeship programme, you'll build an impressive range of coding skills – and learn to thrive as a junior developer.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
