Do you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and working with computers? EPX is looking for an IT Apprentice to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity to learn hands-on skills, gain experience in the workplace, and start building a career in technology.

At EPX, we help all kinds of businesses across the UK keep their computers and systems running smoothly. You’ll get real training and support from experienced staff, so you can grow your knowledge and confidence every step of the way.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Provide support to customers, suppliers, and partners via telephone, remote support and onsite visits.
• Create and take ownership of tickets and be responsible for allocated work.
• Communicate effectively with customers via telephone and maintain excellent written job-notes throughout.
• Adhere to and continue toward company processes and procedures.
• Manage your workload , whilst meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets.
• Carry out Project Engineering works when required by Professional Services.
• Provide support to all other areas of the business where required

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• Due to the nature of the role a driver is required
• Avid problem solver
• Passion for IT and technology
• Resilient and able to work under pressure
• Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £16,000 per annum
• 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday
• Hybrid role 2 days from home and 3 days from the office
• 30 days annual leave including Bank Holidays, 1 extra day per year of service for up to 5 years.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
