Are you curious, motivated, and ready to learn? At Peak Networks, we’re not your average IT company – we’re a friendly, growing team that helps businesses with everything from fixing laptops to keeping networks secure. We’re looking for an IT Apprentice who’s eager to get stuck in, learn on the job, and build real skills that will set you up for the future.
You’ll be helping people with everyday tech issues, learning how to set up and look after devices, and even going out to customer sites. Don’t worry if you don’t know it all yet – that’s what the apprenticeship is for. All we ask is that you bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an interest in technology.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Help clients by answering questions and fixing technical problems.
- Record and resolve support requests, such as password resets, system updates, and hardware issues.
- Keep track of response times and make sure issues are dealt with quickly.
- Answer phone calls and emails, and provide support remotely when needed.
- Set up and prepare equipment such as laptops, phones, scanners, and servers.
- Use basic tools to make repetitive tasks quicker and easier.
- Send out ready-to-use laptops and other equipment to clients.
- Visit client sites to provide in-person support when required.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Driving license not required but advantageous to progress to onsite engineering work in the future.
- Passion for IT and a genuine interest in developing technical skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work well in a team and support others.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Grade 5 in GCSE English & Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £16,000 per annum
- 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
- 25 day holiday plus bank holiday and options to but 5 days holiday

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
