As an apprentice, you’ll support the IT team with day-to-day tasks, help troubleshoot technical issues, assist with projects and system upgrades, and learn how to provide excellent customer service—all while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Support the IT team with day-to-day tasks and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Log, track, and update IT support requests and incidents accurately.
- Learn to resolve technical problems while delivering excellent customer service.
- Assist with small-scale IT projects and system upgrades.
- Help ensure compliance with technology policies and data protection regulations, including GDPR.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Grade 5 in English & Grade 4 in Maths
- A genuine interest in IT, computing, and technology.
- A positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Basic understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and general IT concepts (training will be provided).
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Monday – Friday 8.30 AM – 4.30 PM (37.5 hours pw)
- £14,722.00 – £18,000 Per annum
- 24 days holiday plus bank holidays (32 total).

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
