Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of IT? The Harris Partnership — a national architectural and multidisciplinary design practice — is looking for a passionate and motivated IT apprentice to join their team.
With over 40 years of experience and a host of industry awards, The Harris Partnership boasts a diverse and high-profile portfolio spanning retail, residential, commercial, and urban regeneration. As part of their IT team, you will play a key role in supporting the technology that underpins their innovative design work across multiple UK offices.
In this role, you will work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A typical day in the job:
- Providing first line remote and in person support to the seven offices within The Harris Group via our ticket system, emails, messages, and phone calls.
- Accurately logging, tracking, and prioritising helpdesk requests using our ticket system.
- Following IT standard procedures and policies.
- Maintaining user accounts across multiple systems.
- Configuring both hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
- When required, escalating issues to external suppliers or contacts.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,000 Per Annum.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Has a keen interest in IT and is willing to learn alongside working.
- Has strong communication and customer service skills.
- Can organise their workloads to meet deadlines.
- Is reliable and is willing to ask questions when unsure.
- Having a basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows OS (10 & 11).
- Having a basic knowledge of Windows PCs, laptops, and mobiles (iOS and Android).
- Having knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting techniques.

Eligibility Criteria:
You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.
