TechResponse, an IT consulting and services provider, is hiring a new apprentice to join their team! Founded in 2018, TechResponse focuses on delivering expert IT support and consultancy services to a wide range of clients — from small and medium-sized businesses to schools, charities, and non-profit organisations.

As an IT Apprentice, you will be joining a passionate team of technicians who provide high-quality remote and on-site support to both business and education customers.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Assist with security-related tasks such as managing passwords, implementing access controls, and configuring security software.
  • Review and apply technical documentation to support daily IT operations.
  • Handle and escalate IT support requests in line with service agreements using a ticketing system.
  • Provide technical assistance to users through various communication channels.
  • Use common troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve IT issues. Support the installation, configuration, and upgrading of hardware and software.
  • Carry out software updates and help manage network devices and connectivity.
  • Gain experience with cloud services and use basic scripting to automate routine tasks.

 

Your Training with Baltic:

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £17,000-£20,000 Per Annum
  • Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Eligibility Criteria:

You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.
