Are you ready to kick-start your career as an IT apprentice? Clever IT, a leading managed service provider based in Horwich, is offering a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of their growing team.

Prided on the fact that their business is 75% IT focused, Clever IT deliver efficient and cost-effective support solutions to a variety of clients. Their business spans through various sectors supporting issues in IT support, Cloud Services, Server Solutions, Security, GDPR Guidance and IT director. In short, as an IT apprentice, you would be amongst some of the best & brightest working in the IT field!

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Answer incoming telephone calls from customers.

• Password resets, creating and implementing group policies, multi factor authentication, anti-virus config, encryption etc.

• Provide support through ticketing system and communicate through phone

• Use Remote Access tools like Team Viewer to troubleshoot IT issues and dial into customer access points

• Installing built in software, and adding customer bespoke software

• Implement resolutions derived through own technical knowledge.

• Escalate where an incident is about to or has breached its agreed SLA.

• Escalate P1/P2 calls immediately.

• Manage first level escalations.

• Implement resolutions derived through own technical knowledge.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

•£17,000 per annum.

•Monday – Thursday 8:30am-5pm, Friday 9am-5:30pm.

•20 Days+ bank holidays.

•Pension.

•Great team.

•Paid lunch on last Friday of every month.

•Annual Christmas Party.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

•Someone who has got a passion with IT.

•Understands the difference between IT and Dev.

•Confident communication skills both written and verbal.

•Willing to be flexible.
