This Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification course is designed to equip participants with a broad knowledge of cloud computing concepts and core Azure services. Delivered live by our in-house Microsoft certified trainers, the course covers essential cloud deployment models, service types, and the shared responsibility model, whilst exploring Azure’s infrastructure components, computing, networking, and storage services.
Participants will gain practical understanding of Azure’s management and governance features, including cost management, compliance tools, resource management capabilities, and monitoring solutions to effectively oversee Azure environments.
The course includes sitting the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification exam.
Course Modules
This module introduces cloud computing, covering fundamental cloud concepts, deployment models, and understanding shared responsibility in the cloud. It explores the benefits cloud computing can offer, whilst covering the different cloud service types and sharing some of the use cases and benefits aligned with each service type.
This module introduces Azure’s core infrastructure and resource management, with practical opportunities to create resources. It covers computing, networking, and storage services, highlighting how distributed infrastructure improves resilience, and explores Azure’s authorisation and authentication methods.
This module explores methods to estimate, track, and manage costs in Azure, while introducing tools that help with governance and compliance. It covers tools for managing Azure and on-premises resources, as well as tools that can be used to monitor your organisation’s Azure environment.

Mac Users
Remote Desktop Client: Install one of the following:
- Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac
- Windows App for Mac
- All learners will need to connect to exam virtual machines (VMs) using RDP
- Test your remote desktop connection before the course begins
- Have backup internet access available if possible
