AI and Business Automation Apprentice

Baltic Apprenticeships are delighted to be working with a leading, Manchester-based, tech-first organisation to recruit an ambitious AI & Business Automation Apprentice.

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in one of the fastest-growing areas of technology, combining artificial intelligence with business process automation. You’ll play a key role in supporting the organisation’s use of digital tools to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and improve data-driven decision making.

From day one, you’ll benefit from first-class training and structured support, ensuring you build both the technical expertise and professional confidence needed to succeed. You’ll be guided by experienced mentors within the business, alongside a dedicated learning coach throughout your apprenticeship journey.

As part of your role, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience working with industry-relevant tools and technologies, including Python, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform, applying your learning to real business challenges and projects.

Alongside your practical experience, you will complete a nationally recognised AI & Automation Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship programme, equipping you with highly sought-after skills that are in strong demand across the tech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and deployment of AI and automation solutions
• Assist in building and improving automated workflows and digital processes
• Use data within systems to support automation, monitoring, and decision making
• Build and maintain low code applications using Power Apps
• Create and manage automated workflows using Power Automate
• Support the development of dashboards and visualisations to monitor performance and outcomes
• Collaborate with teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for automation and AI
• Support process mapping, requirement gathering, and solution design
• Assist with system integrations and APIs as your skills develop
• Take part in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of solutions
• Ensure data quality, security, and ethical use of AI technologies
• Document processes, solutions, and user guidance clearly

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £22,000 – £24,000 per annum.
• 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday Friday
• 25 days annual leave.

This Level 4 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in AI and Tech. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in an emerging and exciting industry.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
