As an IT Apprentice with F1Group, you’ll be part of a supportive team that works with schools and businesses every day, tackling everything from setting up computers to keeping networks secure. You’ll earn while you learn, get hands-on with real IT challenges, and build skills that can take you anywhere in the tech world.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Provide customer support via phone and face-to-face interactions.
• Manage daily tickets through Mojo, ensuring updates and resolutions meet business SLA timeframes.
• Work at our workbenches to fix PC components, and install and configure hardware and software.
• Assist with customer networking, including servers, firewalls, and switches.
• Reset passwords, manage user details, and perform data recovery.
• Participate in site visits for hardware installation and network configuration.
• Working on Powershell
• Working on cloud platforms and servers

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• A passion for IT and a strong willingness to learn
• Creative problem-solving skills, demonstrated through assisting friends and family with IT issues
• An interest in technology and a proactive approach to learning
• Ideally someone who has thought outside the box and working with IT in their own time

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £17,000 per annum.
• 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holiday.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
