You’ll get hands-on experience with data tools, learn how to spot patterns, build reports, and share your findings with people who make real-world decisions. Along the way, you’ll develop in-demand skills in data analysis, reporting, and communication – setting you up for an exciting career in tech, data, or beyond.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships
A Typical Day in the Job:
· Support the organisation in managing, analysing, and reporting on carers’ data to improve service delivery and monitor staff performance.
· Apply statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, time series analysis, and data/text mining to identify trends and patterns.
· Translate complex data into actionable insights and evidence-based recommendations for improving staff performance and service delivery.
· Collaborate with internal teams (service managers, team leads, operational staff) and external stakeholders (funders, commissioners) to meet reporting needs.
· Present findings through written summaries, monthly meetings, and video calls, providing clear narratives around data insights.
· Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive and personal information.
· Analyse unstructured data using text mining techniques such as sentiment analysis and word clouds.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

· Experienced in working with stakeholders to address performance trends.
· Strong communicator, able to adapt to technical and non-technical audiences.
· Knowledge of GDPR, data protection, and ethical handling of sensitive information.
· Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage time-sensitive tasks independently.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
· £23,486 per annum
· Flexible working hours between 8:30am-6pm
· 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
· Hybrid working – office/community/home
