This is an amazing opportunity to join the F&R team at Greggs as an Apprentice New Shop Forecast Coordinator, with the opportunity to study an apprenticeship alongside your role to gain extra qualifications and learn new skills. 

As a New Shop Forecast Coordinator, you will complete your Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship and be an essential part of the team, responsible for retail forecasting duties, working with supply chain, improving cross functional processes and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!

In this role, you’ll work towards your level 4 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • This is an introductory role to forecasting working in the Retail Forecasting and Replenishment team
  • Work within the team to manage all new shops, refits, re-sites and closures across Greggs Company managed and franchise stores. This includes creating new forecasts, managing and improving cross functional processes and reacting to sales performance once the shops open. The aim is to maximise sales and availability whilst minimising stales and waste
  • In order to gain experience the role will support the forecasters by managing national and local shop events and supporting and learning other processes within the team when needed
  • Communicating effectively within the F&R team, Retail, Shop development and Supply Chain teams to ensure that forecast processes are adhered to and understood
  • Interacting with Category, Marketing, F&R and Finance to understand Category sales forecast drivers
  • Using SAP software as the primary forecasting system tool

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £27,500 per annum
  • Working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
  • 21 days (4.2 weeks) annual leave, pro-rated, increasing with service, plus bank holidays and 1 additional floating day

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Highly numerate with an ability to manage and analyse complex data to solve problems
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to use MS Office packages, especially Excel
  • An effective communicator with an ability to work cross-functionally
  • A self-starter with a desire to get things done, organised, ability to learn quickly and to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong team player
  • Grade 4/C in Maths and English GCSE
