The Role
As an AI & Digital Champion Coach, you’ll use your industry knowledge and understanding of apprenticeship programmes to guide learners personally and professionally. You will motivate and influence your caseload of apprentices, helping them achieve their full potential through workshops, training, and one-to-one support.
This role is designed to grow with you, with Junior, Mid, and Senior levels offering increasing responsibility, autonomy, and impact.
Key Responsibilities & Role Expectations
Junior Coach
- Support Level 3–4 learners in building portfolios and preparing for end point assessment
- Deliver training days, workshops, and microteaches
- Track learner progress via 1:1/group sessions in SMART and manage off-the-job hours
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with awarding body standards
- Attend standardisation meetings and collaborate with QDA
- Support programme growth under guidance
Coach
· Manage a caseload of up to 42 learners, supporting skills, knowledge, and behaviours development
- Facilitate technical workshops and personal development microteaches
- Evaluate and maintain high-quality programme standards; ensure accuracy and compliance
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with learners, employers, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain training plans, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to programme improvement and learner engagement
Senior Coach
- Manage a caseload of up to 56 learners, delivering comprehensive coaching across apprenticeships
- Lead workshops, microteaches, and training sessions for skills, knowledge, and behaviour development
- Ensure programme quality, compliance, and accurate documentation at all times
- Mentor learners to achieve milestones on time and support their end point assessments
- Attend standardisation meetings, share learner progress, and manage off-the-job hours effectively
- Maintain and update occupational knowledge; drive the growth of apprenticeship provision
Essential Skills & Experience
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, PCET, AET) or experience in digital/apprenticeship sector
- Proven experience delivering AI, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation programmes
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and provide constructive feedback
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Flexible, resilient, and logical in problem-solving
- Confident using IT systems and databases
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Degree or apprenticeship qualified in IT, Business, Data Science, or related discipline
- Knowledge of AI, Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, and apprenticeship standards
- Certifications: Change Management, Power Platform, or AI qualifications
- Experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), coding, or digital transformation tools
- Understanding of compliance, ESG, or technical frameworks is a plus
