Digital Marketing Apprenticeship

Kickstart your career in marketing with hands-on experience in a creative team!

Astley, based in Gateshead, creates signs and graphics for well-known brands all over the UK. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our team and get involved in all kinds of creative work – from taking photos and videos to helping with social media posts and keeping our website up to date. This is a great chance to learn on the job, build your skills, and start a career in marketing.

In this role, you’ll be helping the team with things like making short videos, editing photos, writing posts, and keeping track of how well our marketing is doing online. You’ll also help with getting things ready for client meetings and keeping our image library organised. We’re looking for someone who’s confident talking to different people, keen to learn new skills, enjoys being creative, and has an interest in photography and design. In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Help keep company materials (both online and printed) up to date by collecting information, making changes, and checking everything before it’s shared.
• Create posts for social media, including taking photos and videos, editing them, and writing captions.
• Keep track of how well the company’s marketing is doing (such as website visits and LinkedIn followers) and put the results into a monthly report.
• Organise and update the company’s image and file library so it’s easy to find and use.
• Support the team with creating content for marketing campaigns and business proposals.
• Help get things ready for client meetings, like making welcome videos and setting up screens.
• Look out for chances to promote more of the company’s services to existing and new clients.
• Take on any other tasks given by your manager when needed.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £16,000 per annum
• 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 3pm finish on Fridays

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in digital marketing. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

With our expert online training and one-to-one support, you’ll channel your creativity and learn to create, implement, and analyse successful campaigns as part of a professional marketing team.
