Are you an aspiring IT Network Technician looking to start your career with a well-established and evolving company?
Fourteen IP are specialist Voice and Data Solutions providers focused on providing service, support, and solutions for the Hospitality industry right across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. They work with best-of-breed partners such as HP, Mitel, Broadsoft, Motorola, Ruckus and NEC, and others.
Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking for a hardworking and motivated IT Network Technician Apprentice to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Fault find, configure and remotely monitor products and services provided by Four-teen IP. Products from Cisco, HP, Aruba, Ruckus, Watchguard among others. Services ranging from Routing, Switching, Wireless, IP telephony.
- Solving problems, assess situations, and apply solutions utilising acquired voice and data networking knowledge and experience.
- Understand how telecommunication equipment and services work and be equipped to manage disruptions of service and establish solutions to deal with challenges as they arise.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to Fourteen IP customers and colleagues in the field.
- Responsible for resolving faults and responding to customer enquiries within SLA.
Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by Fourteen IP and Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:
- A minimum of Grade 4/C in Maths or equivalent is required for this role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Passion for Technology
- Ability to quickly learn new systems
- Willingness to learn
Salary, Hours, and Holidays:
- £20,205 per annum with reviews at month 6, 12 and 18
- 22 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Holidays increase 1 day per year up to max 25 days
- Monday – Friday – 9AM – 5.30PM
- Pension Scheme
- Company contractual sick pay scheme
There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program with the possibility of progression onto one of our Level 4 programs.
