The Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity fundamentals certification course is designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge of security, compliance, and identity concepts and related cloud-based Microsoft solutions.

This module also covers essential security frameworks, such as zero-trust, compliance standards, and identity management strategies that form the foundation for securing cloud-based systems and ensuring regulatory adherence.
Microsoft Entra ID is Microsoft’s comprehensive cloud-based identity and access management solution designed to secure modern organisations. This module explores the full range of Microsoft Entra services and identity principals, covering modern authentication methods, advanced access management capabilities, such as conditional access, and robust identity protection features.
This module covers Azure’s network and platform security capabilities, Azure security management tools, and Microsoft Sentinel for security information and event management. Participants will explore advanced threat protection through Microsoft Defender XDR and discover how Microsoft 365’s security management features help safeguard against evolving cyber threats.
This module explores Microsoft’s compliance solutions for regulatory requirements and data governance. Participants will learn about the Microsoft Purview compliance portal, information protection in Microsoft 365, insider risk management, audit and eDiscovery solutions, plus Azure resource governance capabilities for policy enforcement across cloud infrastructure.
