At Panasonic, they are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice AI Automation Practitioner to join their team in Bracknell. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI, automation, Microsoft technologies and digital transformation while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, supporting the development and implementation of digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer service. You will gain practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and emerging AI technologies, while developing the technical and problem-solving skills needed for a career in AI, automation and digital transformation.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to real projects, identify opportunities to reduce manual processes, improve reporting and support the delivery of innovative technology solutions across the business.

A Typical Day in The Job:

·           Supporting the development, testing and deployment of digital, AI and automation solutions

·           Identifying business problems and opportunities where technology can improve efficiency and productivity

·           Supporting the creation and maintenance of Power Automate workflows designed to remove repetitive manual activities

·           Assisting with integrations between Microsoft applications and business systems

·           Supporting the development and improvement of Power BI reports and dashboards

·           Working with SharePoint, Microsoft Forms and Microsoft 365 to develop digital solutions

·           Supporting the implementation of emerging AI technologies and digital innovation initiatives

·           Participating in solution design and requirements gathering to understand business needs

·           Mapping and documenting business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement

·           Creating and maintaining technical documentation, standard operating procedures and user guides

·           Supporting testing activities and helping to identify and resolve issues

·           Working with colleagues to understand how new solutions can improve customer service and operational processes

·           Supporting the implementation of digital solutions used by operational teams

·           Contributing to improvements in reporting, dashboards and the use of business data

·           Ensuring solutions are developed in line with governance, security and GDPR requirements

·           Testing new technologies and approaching tasks with a creative and problem-solving mindset

·           Working towards an apprenticeship project that demonstrates measurable business benefit

·           Continuously developing your technical knowledge and skills through training, coaching and practical experience

·           Any previous experience through work, volunteering, hobbies or personal projects involving IT or technology would be advantageous

·           You do not need to have previous professional experience in AI or automation. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn who is excited about developing a career in this fast-moving area.

·           Grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English is required for this programme.

Salary, Hours and Benefits:

·           £19,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and existing relevant qualifications

·           Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

·           18-month fixed-term apprenticeship contract

·           25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays

·           During the induction period, you may be required to work from the Bracknell office every day

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

Baltic Apprenticeships’ Level 4 AI for Business Automation programme is designed to equip apprentices with the technical knowledge, practical skills and industry experience needed to succeed in modern AI-driven workplaces.

Throughout the programme, you will learn how to:

·           Understand core AI concepts and practical applications

·           Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI and automation

·           Build and improve AI-powered workflows and automations

·           Use prompt engineering techniques effectively

·           Analyse and interpret data to support business outcomes

·           Work with low-code and no-code AI tools

·           Map processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies

·           Configure, test and optimise digital and automation solutions

·           Understand AI ethics, governance and responsible usage

·           Support businesses with AI implementation and adoption

·           Measure the success of improvements using data, KPIs and user feedback

·           Collaborate effectively within technical and non-technical teams

You will receive structured training, one-to-one support and regular coaching from Baltic Apprenticeships throughout your learning journey.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with the technical knowledge and practical experience needed to launch a career in AI, automation and digital transformation.

There are also opportunities to continue developing your career after the apprenticeship, with potential progression into roles such as Power Platform Developer, IT Solutions Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or Digital Transformation Specialist. Panasonic also identifies further Level 4 or Level 5 Digital and Technology Apprenticeships as potential progression routes.
