In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Configure, install and maintain Windows 11 operating systems for end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues where necessary.
  • Manage VMware infrastructure, including virtual machine provisioning, performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Prioritise tickets accordingly to business requirements.
  • Contribute to the stability and efficiency of the Windows-based operating system.
  • Provide support with network accounts and various applications.
  • Assist in creation documentation according to department requirements.
  • Identify and resolve software and hardware issues promptly.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £15,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Passion for IT and technology.
  • Ability to act upon clear instruction.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and software.
  • Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
