This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring IT support technician to gain practical experience while completing a Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship.

In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

 

A Typical Day in the Job:

·        First-line support to resolve user’s technical issues.

·        Record and update job tickets within the help desk system.

·        Proactively monitor system trends and roll out remedies across the business.

·        Compliance with IT security protocols and standards.

·        Configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.

·        Monitoring of systems to predict any potentially service-affecting issues.

 

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

 

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

·        £12,500 per annum. 

·        Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (30-minute lunch break.)

·        25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

·        Ambitious, willing to take ownership and solve problems.

·        Flexible approach to support business needs.

·        Strong communication skills to liaise with other departments and external stakeholders.

·        Organised with an attention to detail.

·        Full UK Driver’s license and access to own vehicle

·        Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself in an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support apprentice.
