In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- The IT Executive at Autotech Group plays an important role in assisting the IT & Systems Manager, and wider IT team, in continually improving & maintaining the company's technology infrastructure to support its business operations and strategic goals.
- This role involves ensuring the reliable performance, security, and scalability of the company's IT systems.
- The IT Executive is responsible for providing support including but not limited to; onboarding of new users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
- Additionally, the role requires collaborating with other departments to understand key functions of the business and how systems and software is used day-to-day.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £16,500 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
- 25 days holidays plus bank holidays
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and configurations.
- Basic familiarity with virtualisation and cloud services (e.g. M365).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Experience with CRM systems
