As a Software Development Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for implementing application updates, testing code, writing code and so much more to enhance your skills and reach your true potential!
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Software Development qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer requirements
- Implementing application updates and plug-ins
- Writing technical code in line with business guidelines
- Actioning peer reviewed work – updating where relevant
- Working with the wider team to deliver on projects
- Liaising with internal and external testing teams to test code
- Coding with PHP, HTML, JAVA SCRIPT, PHYTHON
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary – £16,000
- Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5 PM
- Annual Leave – 32 Days including Bank Holidays fixed office closure over Christmas
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Linux and Github desirable
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and work in a team
- Ability to organise yourself and to adapt in a fast moving, busy environment
- Grade 6/C in Maths & 4/C in English GCSE
