In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Troubleshoot and rectify issues that slow down systems performance or IT users
• Making modifications to accommodate existing users requirements and the organisations
• Proactively monitor impending issues that may arise
• Installing and updating hardware
• Ensuring the security, effectiveness and performance of database management
• Facilitate training sessions for users on new procedures or new IT systems
• Responding to a ticket system to rectify issues and escalate them where necessary

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• Monday – Friday 08:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• £20,000 Per annum

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to use your own initiative
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office with an advanced knowledge in excel
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Attention to detail
• GCSE Grade 5 Maths and 4 in English

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
