IT Support Apprenticeship

Calling all aspiring IT Support Technicians! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with Business Facility Service Provider called Core Facility Services to hire their next IT Support Apprentice! Core Facility Services manages IT Support, Waste Management, Energy, Sustainability for a wide range of business, as an IT Apprentice, you will be the first point of call for helping businesses they work with with any IT related queries. They're a friendly, experienced team with a willingness to overcome any challenge and have continuous investment in training and technology, it’s easy to see why businesses already trust their facility services they provide.

As an IT Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for providing 1st Line IT Support, managing enquiries, installing and configuring hardware, upgrading software and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Working on a 1st line support desk, providing IT support and responding to tickets
• Providing problem-solving assistance over the phone
• Managing and resolving customer inquiries and issues using remote support tools
• Installing, configuring, and upgrading computer hardware
• Upgrading software and ensuring systems are up to date
• Managing new user accounts and synchronising SharePoint

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• Salary – £16,000
• Salary increments of x3 £500 throughout the apprenticeship
• Monday – Friday (Monday 8:15 AM – 5 PM) (Tuesday – Thursday 8:30 AM – 5 PM) (Friday 8:30 AM – 4 PM)
• Annual Leave – 20 Days + Bank Holidays – Will increase to 25 upon completion of the apprenticeship

• Confident communicator

• Grade 4/C in Maths & English GCSE
