We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join Focus Micro Systems based in Oxford as a Level 3 Content Creation Apprentice.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging content across social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You will develop compelling audio content, create eye-catching images and animations, and write captivating blogs, social media posts, and email campaigns. Collaborating closely with the team, you will help determine budgets for content creation, optimise content for search engines (SEO), and utilize Hootsuite for efficient content scheduling.
This apprenticeship will also provide you with hands-on experience using Photoshop and the Adobe platform. If you have excellent communication skills, a self-starter mindset, strong time-management abilities, and active social media engagement, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will work towards your Level 3 Content Creation Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Responsible for crafting engaging visual, audio, and written content across various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Develop audio content that showcases their exceptional team and innovative products, complemented by animation backing sounds
- Create eye-catching images, animations, and written content such as blogs, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Work closely with the team to determine budgets for content creation
- Gain experience in optimising content for search engines (SEO) and utilising Hootsuite for efficient content scheduling
- You will also gain exposure to Photoshop and the Adobe platform.
- Support clients with information, advice and guidance
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £15,500 Per annum
- Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Standard 20 days of annual leave, in addition to bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Good communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts through content creation.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to take initiative and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
- Excellent time-keeping skills to meet deadlines and manage projects efficiently.
- Active and confident usage of various social media platforms to engage with our audience effectively.
- Comfortable with technology, particularly in using HTML for email marketing
- A Grade 4/C GCSE English and 5/C Maths is required for this role.
