Join this amazing organisation as a Level 3 IT Support Apprentice, where you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service and technical assistance. We are seeking candidates with a strong passion for IT and technology, eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Your main duties will include managing the helpdesk through the ticketing system, ensuring all incidents are resolved in accordance with the company’s service level agreements. You will install and rebuild servers, configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage according to standards, project requirements and so much more!

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Manage the helpdesk through the ticketing system and ensure all incidents are resolved in accordance with the company’s service level agreement’s
  • Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
  • Be involved in the preparation of company’s disaster recovery processes

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional project work on a weekend)
  • £22,010.56 Per annum

  • Excellent customer service skills – experience is beneficial

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Good organisational skills
  • GCSE Grade 5 in English and 4 in Math’s
