We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer Apprentice to join our internal IT team and play an instrumental role in our next stage of growth!

As an IT Support Engineer Apprentice, you'll be integral to our daily operations, assisting colleagues with their IT equipment and system issues. Your hands-on approach to managing and resolving IT-related challenges ensures minimal disruption and maintains high productivity across the team. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills are crucial for diagnosing and fixing hardware and software problems, significantly contributing to our operational efficiency.

In this role, you’ll work towards earning your Level 3 Microsoft Information Technician apprenticeship qualification, guided by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Carries out routine IT support tasks as set out in the maintenance plan by line manager.
  • Checks the service desk for tickets assigned by the system, and actively picks up others when able.
  • Supports the resolution of IT support issues from the service desk, ensuring the users are able to return to normal operation as rapidly as possible.
  • Carries out any scheduled works as directed.
  • Carries out any routine checks and maintenance tasks on the system as directed.
  • Remains alert for any problems with IT security at the site, assisting with resolving any problems and investigating the cause.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

  • Salary £16,000 Per Annum
  • Monday – Friday
