Well look no further, Baltic Apprenticeships are partnering with an IT Service Provider based in Manchester to hire their next IT Support Apprentice to join their team of experts. 

The client is an award-winning, industry leading MSP business based in Manchester and one of the leading providers of reliable IT support in the North West. 

As an IT Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for supporting clients on a helpdesk, repairing hardware, setting up software and so much more to enhance your skills and reach your true potential! 

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Support desk role -Provide technical service to customers
  • First line support and escalation issues for customers and internal staff
  • Diagnosing hardware and software faults
  • Provide updates on faults to customers
  • Building and taking apart computer equipment to a specification required.
  • Setting up the software for customers, including installing and configuring of devices and software installations and packages
  • Ensure all servers are backed up

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Confident communicator both written and verbal
  • Due to the nature of the role a driver is required
  • IT hobbyist
  • Good customer service skills 
  • Willingness to learn
  • Be able to keep to time
  • Grade 4/C in Math's or 5/C in English GCSE

Salary, Hours and Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £18,000
  • Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 with half hour lunch
  • 31 days annual leave per year (this figure includes bank holidays)
