In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

 

A Typical Day in the Job:

 

  • Provide helpdesk 1st line support to clients both in person and remotely in line with SLA's and following internal company policies & procedures.
  • Set up new user accounts.
  • Password resets / encryption
  • All work carried out is to be documented on the ticketing system, with updates provided at every stage
  • Installing, updating and configuring hardware such as desktop PC’s, laptops, printers and mobiles.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

 

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £13,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm / 9am – 5pm (rota basis)
  • 20 days holidays plus bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role
  • Confident person
  • Good time keeper
  • Keen to progress in a career in IT
  • Willingness to learn

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
