Calling all aspiring IT Support Technicians! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a successful school based in Cheshire to hire an IT Apprentice.

As an IT Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for supporting staff & students with IT related queries, fixing hardware, updating software, assisting with IT lessons and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • To maintain and repair equipment when it is practical to do so, responding to tickets via their ticketing system for IT related queries
  • To provide assistance to staff and pupils in IT lessons
  • To install software and hardware as directed by the IT Manager
  • To carry out IT related tasks as directed by the IT Manager
  • To back up the server and respond to network problems by resolving or seeking help.
  • Using basic scripts to automate tasks
  • Using windows based laptops and desk tops, VOIP telephones and IP CCTV cameras, software

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary – £22,366
  • Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
  • 26 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays

  • Grade 5/C in English GCSE & Grade 4/C Maths GCSE
