Calling all aspiring IT Support Technicians! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with an amazing school in Cramlington to hire their next IT Apprentice.

As an IT Support Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for supporting students and staff with IT queries, maintain IT stock levels, upgrade hardware within the school and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential! 

In this role, you’ll work towards your level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Support the organisation in all aspects of IT service provision via the helpdesk, email, telephone and in person response, as part of the IT Support team
  • Provide support for both in-house and cloud based systems such as Active Directory and Google Workspace
  • Support the organisations one to one Chromebook scheme, arranging repairs and liaising with our support partners for collection, delivery and replacement
  • Maintain stock control for consumables such as equipment, printer toners and repair components Install and maintain computer hardware and other technical equipment
  • Work with the IT Support team and stakeholders to plan upgrades and improvements to service provision and delivery

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary – £19,000
  • Annual Leave – Start at 25 Days and after 5 years rise to 31
  • Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A solid knowledge of windows desktop systems
  • Knowledge of IT Systems and end user devices
  • Experience delivering customer support or working in a technical environment
  • A passion for technology
  • A desire for self-improvement and further development
  • Grade 5/C in English GCSE & 4/C in Maths GCSE

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective Data Analyst.
