In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults using tools like RMM, DETA, TaskManager, and TeamViewer.
  • Record support requests on Connectwise, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation.
  • Replace hardware components and re-install software as needed to resolve issues.
  • Follow written instructions to repair faults or set up systems efficiently.
  • Set up new user accounts and profiles, and handle password resets and related issues.
  • Book appointments and respond to callouts, prioritizing and managing multiple open cases simultaneously.
  • Rapidly establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, liaising with third-party vendors as required.
  • Work on client networks, installing and configuring a range of servers, routers, and switches.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £14,430
  • Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm
  • Hybrid working arrangement: 4 days at home and 1 day in the office
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Excellent progression opportunities to advance your career

  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Mature attitude and strong communication skills
  • Minimum Grade 4/C in Maths and Grade 5/C in English
