In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Configure and set up laptops, desktops, and mobile devices to meet user needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address customer requirements effectively.
  • Manage your workflow to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Stay eager to learn and develop skills with technologies like Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Team Leader and Technical Services Manager.
  • Accurately update and maintain asset information in both company and customer systems.
  • Adhere to internal and external deadlines, providing precise updates and timescales to customers.
  • Maintain punctual and consistent attendance to meet strict customer deadlines.
  • Oversee stock control in the warehouse, including moving devices for imaging works.
  • Seek guidance from the team for unfamiliar situations to ensure accurate and effective solutions.
  • Commit to your studies within the Level 3 apprenticeship course, including the 20% off-the-job training requirement.
  • Ensure preparedness for apprenticeship assessments and exams.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £15,000 per annum
  • Full-time 40 hours per week
  • 20 days of annual leave

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Able to be adaptable to the fast-paced, exciting environment you will work within
  • Ability to commit to the 20% Off-The-Job training requirement as part of your apprenticeship course
  • Experience with utilising the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with an enthusiastic “can-do” attitude to solve day-to-day problems that may arise in the role
  • Strong, confident approach to problem-solving, with the ability to ask for guidance when a challenge presents itself
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop good relationships with team members and colleagues
  • A Grade 5 or C in English and a Grade 4 or C in Maths is required for this role
