Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a leading law firm dedicated to delivering excellence in legal services, they are now on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join their dynamic team as an IT Support Apprentice!

The client prides themselves on delivering the best service possible for their clients & want you to be a driving force to this mantra, delivering IT support to stakeholders externally and internally.

As an IT Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for providing 1st line IT support, password resets, conduct software updates, resolving hardware issues and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communication Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Involved in security processes such as Password resets and Anti-Virus Configuration, new user accounts, monitoring systems, distributing out in the field, remote access to PCs
  • Resolving issues regarding hardware, software and networking, creating secure links to upload files for third parties, case management proclaim, support end users
  • Using Task Manager, Command Prompt, Team Viewer to resolve issues
  • Communicating with customers/staff using phone, email & teams to resolve IT issues
  • Conduct software updates using OS
  • Escalate tickets and reports when needed
  • Completing support tasks- both internally and externally utilising the internal ticketing systems

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary – £16,000
  • Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5 PM
  • 1 Hour Lunch Break
  • 20 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
  • Salary review on completion of apprenticeship

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Built own PC's
  • Hobbyist in IT, passion for the industry
  • Communication skills essential
  • Had experience in a working environment whether its part time or full time
  • Completed courses in own time desirable
  • Grade 4/C in Math's and Grade 5/C in English GCSE
