Are you keen to learn all about Data Administration and eager to kick-start your career? Avon Ruby, is thrilled to offer an incredible opportunity for a Data Administrator Apprentice who posses a knack for numbers to join their talented team as an Accounts Assistant.

Avon Ruby is a family-run Building company specialising in refurbishments, renovations, and reactive emergency works. They're are looking for someone with the right skill set to join their small team in their fast-paced Greater London office.

As a Data Administrator, you will be the heartbeat of the office, responsible for a wide range of tasks such as collecting staff expense claims/invoices, inputting data, analysing billing expenses, cross referencing data from the company CRM and so much more to enhance your skills to become an effective Accounts Administrator.

As you progress throughout your apprenticeship, you will take on more duties and responsibility, such as be able to blend data from multiple CRM systems to give an over view/visual representation of Client Demographics, Client buying trends, Client Orders, Client Invoices – presenting findings to the business to make decisions on the back of your analysis such as cost saving strategy or time.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Essentials qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Accounts payable: file and track invoices and prepare payment requests
  • Purchase orders: issue and file purchase orders
  • Billing: track and recharge man-days and expense claims
  • Cross reference – all invoices sent and statements sent through, reconcile against the statement
  • Ensure all end of month balances have been made and that the data within the CRM are up to date
  • Identify patterns on recurring payments, purchase orders and analyse findings
  • Present findings to the team on anything that can help the teams efficiency, save costs or time
  • Creating presentations / spreadsheets to visualise data to present to the FD

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary – £16,000 – £18,000
  • Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
  • 1 Hour Lunch Break
  • 28 days' paid annual leave a year (including bank holidays)

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Numerical mindset and want to work with numbers
  • Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent computer skills, in particular with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Time management skills with the ability to focus, organise and prioritise workload
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously in a demanding environment
  • Grade 4/C in Math's & English GCSE

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective Data Essentials.
