In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Software Development Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Develop and enhance internal systems that drive the core of their business operations.
• Collaborate with experienced developers to work on both existing customer-facing systems and internal tools.
• Contribute to the testing phase of development to ensure the reliability and functionality of their solutions.
• Tackle debugging and bug-fixing challenges to maintain the high quality of their products.
• Manage the ticketing system to prioritise and address tasks effectively.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• Competitive annual salary of up to £20,000
• Hybrid work arrangement, offering a balanced 50/50 split between remote and in-office work.
• Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• A deep passion for software development and coding demonstrated through personal projects or hobbyist endeavours.
• Ideally, a foundational understanding of C#  and .NET showcases your commitment to expanding your technical skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex products, systems, processes, and technologies efficiently.
• An analytical thinker who enjoys dissecting problems and devising creative solutions.
• A grade 4/C at GCSE in English and Maths is required for this role.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective Software Developer.
