King Edward VI Camp Hill schools are happy, flourishing, and friendly communities as well as outstandingly successful, selective grammar schools. The IT tech team supports both Camp Hill Boys & Camp Hill Girls schools, across one network infrastructure. Support consists of all technologies that utilise this infrastructure, including Microsoft File & Print Services, VOIP & Biometrics.

You will be an essential part of the team as an IT Apprentice, responsible for a wide range of tasks such as installing/troubleshooting software, responding to helpdesk inquiries, and everything in-between to enhance your IT skills to become an effective IT support technician.
In this role, you?ll work towards your Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Monitoring the IT Helpdesk, responding to support tickets based on priority level and following the escalation process when necessary. User management e.g. setting up new accounts, granting access for employees to relevant company resources. Support with core Microsoft applications e.g. SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Office apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.). Audio/visual technology support for Boardroom meetings. Using Mobile Device Management tools (such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Jamf) to install, configure, upgrade, and maintain client device systems and software, ensuring compatibility and functionality. Understand and use cloud and virtualisation technologies, such as cloud-based services, server, application, and network virtualisation. Systems include: Microsoft Azure, Sophos Central, Cisco Meraki Document and report incidents, problems, solutions, and feedback using appropriate tools and systems.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary – �18,500 Monday ? Wednesday 8:15 am ? 16:45 pm (includes 1-hour lunch) Thursday ? Friday��8:15 am ? 16:15pm (Includes 1-hour lunch) 25 days? holiday per year (rising according to the length of service), plus 8 bank holidays and 4 concessionary days where the School is closed.
