At Baltic Apprenticeships, client relationships are our top priority. We’re looking for a dedicated and personable account manager to maintain and grow client accounts and serve as our main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. You might come from recruitment, sales, or customer service background.

You will join our Non-Levy Account Management Team which means you will work with SME organisations to help them identify skill gaps and grow their teams. Your main responsibility is to generate new sales within your assigned client accounts. This includes creating new opportunities where we currently have apprentices, cross-selling apprenticeships into new departments and discussing progressing current learners on programme, onto higher level apprenticeships. Similarly, you will discuss using our apprenticeships to develop existing staff within your accounts.

You will be on hand to support the employer whilst their learner is on-programme with us. So, you will work collaboratively with our team of Coaches to support with action plans and resolve any concerns they may have.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates as the main point of contact for your assigned client accounts.
  • Identify and generate new sales in your client accounts, including progressions, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Coordinate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure the highest levels of service across each function.
  • Resolve any service or apprentice performance issues that may occur within your accounts.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts retaining the majority beyond existing service.
  • Communicates client needs and demands to SMT.
  • Forecast and track client account metrics.
  • Keep records of client transactions
  • Promote and protect learner wellbeing and safety by adhering to our safeguarding policy and following guidance provided by our safeguarding team

  • Excellent oral and written communication and strong negotiation skills
  • Innovative problem solver and resilient to set backs that may occur

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in account management, recruitment, or sales role
  • Previous experience in a vibrant and fast paced environment

The working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week: Monday – Thursday, 8:15am – 4.30pm & Friday, 8:15am – 3.30pm (2:30pm if we hit target)!
