I ended up working for Baltic as I was looking for a new challenge.
My previous roles are quite varied: Joiner, Truck Driver, Spot Welder at Nissan, Milkman and Warehouse Manager. I have various different skills linked to my previous job roles.
I have been working for Baltic for nearly 11 years.
I am a Consultant Assessor and I work closely with a number of apprentices. I support them in completing their assessment plans and providing pastoral care with many aspects of their apprenticeship. On a day to day basis where required I support my colleagues in relation to their job roles.
I enjoy helping my apprentices achieve their qualification and helping them start their chosen career.
My favourite memory working here is the many social events such as the Christmas parties and the Baltic's award ceremonies that the company provide.
When I first started for the company we were focused on NVQ Assessing. I then moved to PETP training for people who were unemployed and now I have moved in to the IT sector where the company is rigidly focused on.
One main item on my bucket list is to meet Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden.
My most interesting fact is that I once played guitar with the Ruby Red Roosters at one of the Baltic Christmas parties. On that night I joined the band and played Thin Lizzy's The boys are back in town.
My greatest achievement is that I started a band a few years ago and played a few gigs and as this was a childhood dream I was very happy to of achieved this.
Hobbies and interests for me is music, playing guitar and tanks, mainly World of Tanks. I also like to spend time with family and friends.
