Leanne Pearson - Co-ordinator

[Customer service]

I have always had an interest in working in education, to help others with their learning and career development. I have previously volunteered within schools, supporting students learning development and have enjoyed the involvement of the learning and support that I can offer. Working for Baltic Apprenticeships has provided me with the opportunity to support apprentices throughout their education and career into IT.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. Up until working with Baltic, I have always worked as a freelance Graphic Designer which then grew into my own design business.

I have qualifications in Graphic Design BA BTEC in Graphic Design and a BTEC in Business Administration Level 3.

Working at Baltic

I have been working at Baltic for 19 months. I work as a Customer Relations Co-ordinator.

I enjoy speaking with the learners and employers and trying to provide support where I can. Also working alongside my colleagues, as it is a great office and environment to be part of. The Christmas parties and events that Baltic provide for their staff is always a fun experience.

My role has developed massively in all areas. From scheduling courses and exams and learning about the programmes we offer, and the constant improvements to the services we provide. Also with the introduction of the new standards to apprenticeships, the overall coordinating along with the End Point Assessment has provided a massive change to my role.
